Aurora Cover on my 2008 Pantera II. Help

I ordered my Aurora Cover from BCB and received it exactly as promised even with the natural disaster of the ice storms effecting the areas. Thanks BCB and Aurora. Now for the bad news. To be honest the Aurora cover instructions definitely leave something to be desired so that consumers can fully comprehend the proper installation procedures. I know you say “but its just a boat cover how hard can that be ?” Well let me start with I am SURE that I can figure it out but I have parts which I have NO clue where they go, an aluminum pole which looks as if it should be installed in the front seat bushing ???? The instructions are VERY generic. Sorry for venting but with the exceptional quality of the cover I would definitely expect the instructions to be on par. After all, you want the BEST cover to protect the BEST bass boat in the industry and I for one dont want to sacrifice the the protection offered by my cover due to poor installation procedures.

The aluminum pole snaps to the cover. There will be one lone snap at the front of the cover. The purpose of the pole is to form a tent effect that water will run off the front part of the cover and not puddle as much. Truth be known, I have never used that pole on an Aurora cover or Deans Cover. The pole does not fit in the seat bushing. It stands on the front deck at any number of locations depending where the snap was installed on the cover.

Thanks. Aurora should take the time to pictorialize there instructions which they send out with the cover. Their website does an OK job but not as good as yours in my opinion. They could very easily develop item # specific instructions for each cover that they make frequently.

Great Idea KSBasser with the rope rachets on the Aurora covers. I never can get mine tight enough to trust towing in the KS wind… I will make that investment. Now if i can remember where i bought mine at?

The rope ratchets are the best thing going for getting the cover tight.

Im going to try the local farm supply super store (Tractor Supply) and see if they have them. I think that is where I bought the last one at. Ill let you know…

Hello, Thanks for the constructive critism on the instructions. I would like to make something up that might be a bit more easy to understand. If at any time someone has ANY problem with our product please give me a call! As for the Rope Ratchets we sell them. We also have a Webbing ratchet to fit if you have the webbing style instead of rope.
