What cover do you guys prefer and why? Need some opinions/experiences.I like the looks of the deans cover with separate cover for the motor, it is similar to my last cover. I have yet to have a cover I feel comfortable trailering with it on, but would love to have one that worked well and wasnt just a big parachute. Not sure I will tow with it on much, my main use will be for storing the boat to protect from the sun the elements after every outing.ThanksLast edited by Aaron.basscatowners on February 18th, 2010, 6:36 am, edited 1 time in total.

I have had both. I did have the Aurora, and liked how it had the padding. I didnt like the tent style it was. This cover would let the rain come thru and I even tried to us water proofing but to no help. I know this was sunbrella. I currently have the Deans and Like the dryness that it keeps the boat in the ran. I feel it a touch lighter, and it is the low profile so you can see better out the back. You must make sure they add the T- clips with the straps that goes on to the fender for the deans.

Ive had two Cats with Deans covers…never had an Aurora. I liked the Deans covers pretty much but never tow with a cover on. I dont have a cover for my current Cat, but plan to order a dust cover soon, just to use when parking overnight at motels, etc.(My boat is garaged when not in use.) Ive only heard good things about the Aurora too.

deans i never tow with the cover exept for the motor cover, only use the full cover when parked or storage

I have both, the Deans keeps the dust out of the boat better and is waterproof. Both are great, but I live 10 miles up a dirt road, so the Deans works the best for me. Welcome to the family. Mike

Ok thanks………… Did not know anything about the t-clips so good info. Keeping the boat dry is pretty important to me so that is also good info.Appreciate the help guys.
