Shot a doe Friday morning, won a local tournament Saturday morning, listened to my tigers hang 65 on the pigs and shot another doe Saturday evening!

Watched plenty of does in the Saturday AM fog, 10 pt. buck was too far off as does warned him and a 6 point club head still in velvet. Does stayed and pestered me. Boat was loaned out to John Crews on an absolutely beautiful day when they are literally slaying them on some areas of Bull Shoals. Watched first quarter of a ball game that did not meet expectations. Then went back to farm to shoot and work, turned off radio in second half after touchdown. Best part of the day is it was absolutely gorgeous and got to spend it outside, and Tyler Wilson showed some brightness in an otherwise convoluted ball game. My Sooners are starting to gell. Looks like they are going to be 1 or 2 when BCS comes out. Its a long season and I really dont expect them to remain undefeated. They are young and have way too many freshman on the field. But, look out next year.

Brian,Can it get any better for you? Congrats on a great day. Its nice to have them.I was out of pocket camping with my brother. No TV, no radio but you could hear the campers with DirectTV watching the games (I am sure Auburn and Alabama) hooping and hollering outdoors. I got a chuckle. Havent camped in years. We stayed at Chillatchee State Park and proudly fished out my my brothers 1998 Jaguar. What an awesome boat. Fishing was tuff (we couldnt find the bigger largemouths) but the day was awesome.

Thanks Tom- The bite here was awful too, we lucked up and upgraded a few fish late, didnt think we had a shot, but it was enough! Sometimes it aint pretty, but a win is a win!

I heard that there were some questionable calls, didnt watch it, was in a tree. I heard a few calls in the the first quarter against AU that sounded, from the announcers, to be suspect too. Ill take the win, that was the game that had me worried, until we meet Bama!

Opening day was my weekend….Arrowed a buck and a doe and the next day took forth in my club….not the greatest but secured my spot in Top Six next year on Toledo bend. Congrates on a great day and a win.ElowodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
