I have noticed the last 2 times when taking my boat out of the water that a pretty good bit of water is draining from the boat when I pull the plug. My auto bilge is not kicking on and pumping it out. I looked this am to see how much was in it and it was covering the pumps. I have been running my livewells all day and pretty sure it is overflow but dont understand why it is not getting pumped out. Do I have to have the acc switch on and bilge set to auto or should it kick on anyway?Brian
Plus it depends on where your float is and how high its mounted, your float might be located above your pump. I always pump mine out manually and when its finished I put it back on auto.
