On my last outing I had my bilge set to automatic. After a very rough ride that had a couple waves come over bow. I turned bilge to manual and quit a bit of water came out. Does this mean my automatic bilge is not working and where is it located. I havent had time to fill bilge with water to see when the auto turns on.

It takes more than a “quite a bit” of water for the auto bilge to come on. if you want to know for sure, I would run a water hose in the boat and see how long it takes prior to the bilge coming on. The auto bilge is in the sump between the batteries. Works off a float.

Or just turn the auto bilge on and walk tot he back and lift the mechanism to make sure it works freely and turns on.

Yeah, I have a related question.When the Master Power switch is turned OFF, does the AUTO-BILGE function still work?If I leave my boat in an uncovered slip overnight, dont want to leave the MASTER POWER switch on all night in case of an overnight downpour!

your auto bilge if working right will work with the master power off. good idea for those times like you mentioned.pant 2Bob

I have looked for the float switch and have not located it. Are the float wires tied to the bilge pump?

The float operates through the dash and is located in front of the seat pipe. The pumps are turned on by the processor.
