I know alot of you guys dont truly know this doctor, however you do get to see some of his posts. He is passionate about everything he gets his hands into weather it be medical of having to do with our fisheries or even rules and regulations on the water. I personally got to see, experience, and enjoy this doctors work. As of Friday morning I underwent a 4 hour back operation, even though he did not perform this surgery he “walked” me through the nerve calming sessions days prior to leading up to it. Ad the drugs wore off, Friday evening and night wad very hard. I am 38 and this was such a big deal my wife stayed with me and my 70+ year old parents came up as well. To much surprise Saturday mid morning rolls around and I got a visitor, and not just a hi, was around wanted to drop by. We swapped some stories, he talked medical stuff which help myself and family, and bonded with my parents like he has known them his whole life. My mom and dad were very impressed with a truly humble, honest, caring, and quit comical guy I got to call a buddy. Wife says hes cuteier in person than medical pictures give him credit for. After his Saturdays visit with me, I have the utmost respect for him and truly feel instead of referring go him as a buddy, I feel he is a true friend. THANK YOU, DR. WARD in my book you are one of the best. Your time and visit meant more to me and my family than you will ever know! Truly a great person! Thanks again.
+1 to that. Never met him in person but have conversations pretty regularly. Good fellow.
Whatever! Got to keep u upright so Kweekul will have someone to mooch off of and so i can know which tamale locations in the delta have ol Rocky in them instead of Elsie!C.O.D. Jr. III
Now youve done it! Youve made it public. Youve brought Mr. Humble out in the open as he looks down at Olajuwon. We have some very (no VERY) knowledgable “family” members on this board and sometimes they are who they really are. Here on this board they are just like everyone else other than how you read their posts, they are people. And then every now and then they slip and let their brilliance come through occasionally, though inside many of those folks here are all jelly and warm fuzzies. Trying hard here to say something without an awrr shucks and causing them to blush. Friends always know they are appreciated.Last edited by Rick Pierce on March 3rd, 2013, 2:56 pm, edited 2 times in total.
As my wife says we need more pepole in this world like Ward and Bass Cat Family. When we needed to know more about problem with grandauhter s problem(LVA) Ward put into words and pictures so we could understand and daughter was on right track as far as doctors in our area and Boston. Some day we will meet and have to buy Mr. Ward lunch.Even though we dont have a Cat (first time since 1990) hope to be back in 2014 we are still treated like family and for that we thank you
Good people are drawn together by small common threads. I will not harass him anymore, just wanted him to really know in how much it meant to me and my family to have such a calming, relaxing moment. Oh yea… PS dont ever worry about buying him lunch, just get gift cards for tackle he losses and tears up ALOT!!!
