Had a smooth trip. No banditos, got to pay all the toll booths, and didnt have to bribe the federallies. First fish I caught was Sat. evening after driving all day, it weighed 8lb.5oz. Sunday I caught a 8lb.7oz. in the afternoon. Monday my partner Tim caught a 7lb.7oz. on a buzzbait in the afternoon. We caught 42 fish total with lots of 3s, 4s, and 5s. Only glitch was we woke to find one of the other boats that went down with us had sunk overnight. Glad mine was on the trailer. That stratos looked cute with water up to the front casting platform although it was kind of sad to see a foot and a half of water over the coweling of that 175 Merc. Took us 2 hours to get the transom obove the water line so he could start to dry it out. He was on the water by 11:00 and caught a 8lb.1oz. and a 8lb.11oz. We stopped at Guymas on the way home and picked up 20 kilos of guymas blue shrimp. Going back the 8th of Feb. for three days. Basscat builds a great boat. Thanks BCB.
