backing up Puma

I just became a member of the BassCat family with the purchase of a 2007 Puma with Merc 250 Pro XS.Not toooo excited!! My problem is getting it in and out of my garage. I have to push it in and out by hand andmake a 90 degree turn into the garage. The back two sets of wheels dont want to turn, which means brute strength with two large men to move it. Any suggestions how to prevent my next hernia?

Check out some devices called Go Jacks. You can locate them at Harbor Freight. Pretty sure they have a website. Just do a Google for Go Jacks or for Harbor Freight. Im sure many other places carry them or some device like them. They allow you to jack up the wheels on one axle, effectively taking those wheels out of the mix when youre trying to swing the boat around in the garage.

I had to actually put a car jack under the front axle, lift both wheels off theground to move it into my shopa complet 90d turn worked fine

Call the factory, 870-481-5135 mon-fri. See if they have any “pop axle” bolt ons left. Served the same purpose as Go Jacks, but mounted on the trailer frame and had a slide bar that would keep the front axle slightly elevated for maneuvering. POP axles are available as a bolt on accessory and they are made to order.

Ill check out the jacks from BCB. Ive got to figure out how to upload the pictures. Suggestuions appreciated. Its great to be part of the family. Shes a pretty kitty.

Spray some Armor All on the floor where the wheels would be and lower the jack all the way down. Dealer told me this and it helps, I half to do same with my P II.

Thanks guys. Called BCB and they do have the POP axels. Probably the way Im gonna go.Gotta get ready for my first club tournament March 16 on Baden Lake in NC. Gotta showoff my new Puma. Did I say it came with a Lowrance HDS 10 with structure scan?
