Bad Battery

Would a bad cell give me a false positive on my onboard charger. Charger indicates fully charged but nothing is working. I switched the charger leads around and they all show fully charged on the cranking battery. I also bypassed the inline 20 A fuse which I believe powers the master switch and console and still have nothing. Suggestions?

I would try a known good batt. the cranking side and see what happens. If it works, batt. is most likely bad. pant2 Bob

Do a load test on the suspect battery. That will tell you if it has a bad cell. Yes the onboard charger will show full charge but with a dead cell the bad battery will not hold a load.

Try a manual charger to boost the battery and then try the on board. They require some voltage to work properly.
