Bad lower Unit

Does anyone have or know anyone who has a mercury lower unit they would be willing to sell pretty cheap for a 3.0 optimax? Ive been using an SEI lower for the past few years and have had nothing but bad luck out of it. I sent it back for warranty work last year, got it back had to re brake it in for 10 hrs and it has failed 7 hrs later (main seal is gone and leaking oil from exhaust). Ive been to the lake twice this year due to having a baby so this is kind of a disappointing. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I have one I bought on here for $600. When I went to pet a new water pump in it I noticed one of the bolts holding the water pump cover was broke off in the casing. I had a guy get that bolt out and had my mechanic check it over. He said it was good to go. I bought it for a spare. I used it once and put my other one back on. It has been in my tackle shed since then. If you want it I will let it go for $600 plus shipping. If not I will just keep it as a spare.

Guys, We have a few that we keep around and they are a variety of condition from new to busted. Those are not all G2 and TM cases, some are 3.0 Verado style cases. Some are a chipped skeg tip from a delivery issue on down. If someone is in a bind on a gearcase we could probably help some, though they wont be $600 and we dont know what those would cost until we got into it. BCB
