The Flapping Hog is a fine pitching bait–use it where you would use a Sweet Beaver or a Bruxh hog type bait. I like the 051, 231 and 297 colors. With the right hook, it will also work on a C-rig. Ive been fishing with the Vicious lines for almost a year now, and they are top shelf. The Flourocarbon matches up with any on the market that I have used, and is better than a lot of them. Price point is outstanding. No negatives from me, at all. Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN

switched from Berkly to viscous this year and so far so good, and as Mike said fro the price point it is even betterTreat everyday like it might be the last

Used it for the first time yesterday fishing jigs in brush and rocks. That is some very impressive line. Tough, durable, and not too much memory or stretch.

Has anyone used the new yamamoto flappin hogs and the vicious flourocarbon line?? If so wut r they like??

I am making and selling the same bait but will custom make it any color you want with a hand tied skirt. Will put as many strands of whatever color you want on the jig. I also make it in a bunch of different sizes. Is a good jig but never could find a decent bite with it this past weekend. Funny thing, was up there last weekend, fished for 30 minutes and my ole man caught a 3 pound smallie about 15 deep. Never could get that out of my mind until the last day of the tournament. haha nice i ended up catching 6 fish all week and 1 keeper and they all came on that winchester jig 1/4oz. its a very versatile bait i mainly flipped it around those big trees and flipped it around channel breaks and the ones that bit i mainly caught but had multiple fish short strike on the trailer that i missed. Wut is the best trailer for this jig???

Everybody has their own favorite trailer and think it mostly depend on where and what you are fishing. For flipping I like something a little more stream line, compact and that still has some action. Most of the time I use either a Zoom chunk or some type of crawfish. ( Zoom or Peca Craw ) For a casting jig and for fishing deep clear water or ledges and drop offs. I am kind of partial to a twin tail trailer. Several different companies make them. Take care and Good Luck Joey Watts
