Last time at camp on Champlain, there was one out on part of the lake that still had ice hanging with a bunch of sea gulls. Later he flew over head. Never get tired of seeing them around and always impressed with their size.

The Alcoa plant personnel are super proud of the attention and it is well deserved. Interesting that the name given to the eglet in online voting is Freedom. Tells you something about middle America and what is really important.

Is there not a new allowance for native American Indians to legally take Eagles to retrieve feathers within the last 60 days or so? Previously they got feathers from wildlife agencies, caretakers and zoos.

The wildlife agenices said they would help in any way that the native americans by way off feathers or body parts from wounded or dead birds, but since eagle has been taken off endangered list they want to kill there own. will have to wait and see were it goes from here.
