Believe you must be talking about Columbus and from what I hear the fishing is pretty tough down there right now. Talked with Mike Keough yesterday and he is having a pretty hard time catching a limit of keepers down there. Suppose to drop by here tomorrow night and pick up a pretty big order of football and flipping jigs. Also going to pick up a spare Trophy I have laying around. Seems he folded the ears on 3 of his blades down there at that mud hole and does not have time to get it fixed or another shipped in. Could not believe he did not have a spare already !!!Good Luck

Use to be one of the better fisheries around here 10 or so years ago. I can remember fishing BFL tournaments down there and looking forward to going. Have caught and seen some good fish and stringers out of there. Cashed a couple checks down there and should have won an event except for some poor decision making. Was running a little Champion back then. First time I ever went through a lock was down there. Can remember everybody teasing me in the lock because I was so nervous. They did not tease much coming back through that afternoon though as I was the only person to have a decent limit of fish. I also got thrown out of my boat down there. Was trolling out of a little slough and got hung up on a stump. Put the trolling motor on high and swung the boat from right to left trying to work myself off the stump. While swinging the boat side to side, hit another stump and out I went. Anyway, youll be safe and have a good time !!!
