EK is a really good dealer and a great asset to all of you around Monroe. He had not previously handled fiberglass boats, and now the word will spread. He is somewhat of a perfectionist on certain things and wants what is best for his consumers. BCB

Thanks for the info NELA. I will put that one in my memory bank. I have a friend who has an X28 and his is slow to pick up signal.

BCB, Wanted to let you know that my Dealer EKs Marine in West Monroe La. (318-361-9364) solved what I thought was a problem. In an earlier post, I thought my Lowrance 27-C s were not aquiring fast enough. Little did I know with the W.A.A.S. feature checked aquire, the units were unable to lock on to W.A.A.S satelites because they are not available at all times. With this feature unchecked the units aquired instantly and still can aquire W.A.A.S. when its available. Thats the way it was explained to me. Glynn

Good Luck, hopefull this will happen sooner than later. Great decision,,,,,,you will not be disasspontedI researched for a couple years, knowing I would eventually get a bass boat. I fished as a non-boater at the club and federation level for years, so I got to fish out of almost every brand of boat, except for a Bass Cat. I only actually saw one in person once. I purchsed my my Pantera II last year based on everyhting that I read, having never actually ridden in a Bass Cat. The boat is everthing I expected from a Cat and more.

Good luck Mike. Dont count out one of the used models. My dad just bought an 07 model that looks new. and priced right. hope it is sooner rather than later for you. you will not be dissapointed in the boat or support from BCB and the other owners on here.

Thanks guys for your responses. I also fish the VA Bass Fed. Nation and fish the tournaments as a non-boater. I have fished from Tritons, Rangers and Nitros. Never in a Bass Cat from all of my reseach (believe me I have done a lot) I feel this could be the boat for me. I think I can speak for many….I am apprehensive about going into debt with the economy as it is right now. I have been looking at used boats and there are some great deals to be had but I have decided to keep chuggin along with my Triton aluminum a while longer.
