It is with great personal pride to announce that after 6 1/2 months, I have successfully completed the “Bass Cat Challenge.” As of today, I have lost a total of 75.4 lbs, 22.6% of myself. Even though one of the dangling carrots for the lifestyle/behavioral changes was a boat. I gained so much more than I ever realized, mostly, things that enable me to keep up with my kids. I laugh every time I tie my shoes now, because I dont have to sit down to do it, or something as stupid as crossing my leg when I sit down without having to pick it up. A rebirth of self confidence, etc. I plan on incorporating exercise into my routine now that I have my diet under control. Id like to lose another 30 lbs. New Years is always a time where folks set goals for weight loss or to quit smoking. I have successfully now accomplished both of those and with the right attitude anyone can.For those of you who offered support and kind words and have followed my progress over the past 6 months, I appreciate it, you played a significant part in my success. For those who didnt have an opportunity to read the story and would like, you can check it out here.Im proud that my first boat was a Bass Cat, I absolutely love my Margay.
