Bass Cat Cougar trailer NEEDED

I had a little snag hauling my boat to the lake one morning. Ended up totally my trailer and was not real interested in buying a brand new one for six thousand plus if i can avoid it. So if any one has a cougar trailer please i will definitely take it off your hands. My boat is an 03 but i think that the cougar has had the same hull for many years so any trailers big enough for a 20 1/2 foot boat should work. Where are you located…not indicated in your profile. That would help some as it tells what part of country you are in, one of the local BC owners may have knowledge of an item but figure too far away to be of help.Sometimes you can find a good used trailer at the local lakes…owners sometimes just leave the boats docked on boat lifts. I know how you feel, i jackknifed my trailer last week bent it pretty bad. I had a hard time finding a shop that would repair it at first so the insurance company was going to total it, then i found out I did not have enough coverage to buy a new trailer, money is a little tight right now so I could not afford the price difference. After calling what seemed like every shop in the state i finally found one that said they could fix it. It might take alot of phone calls but you possibly could find someone to repair it.

I am located in north east texas (Tyler). I am not sure if it is repairable or not. I am pretty sure not. I jackknifed it pretty good. I am going to see if someone cant straighten it out which i know wont be a long term fix. I am completely at a loss for options right now. I had it under issured and cant get them to budge any on my goof as far as appraising the trailer. Truck insurance wont cover it. So if any one finds something out that could help i would greatly appreciate it.

Its black. i saw another thread on here about taking it to a body shop and having them do a frame pull so i might try to see if they can do that. please let me know something as soon as you find out.

The shop that is repairing my trailer is going to do a frame pull. They told me they would repair any of the channel that was wrinkled and repaint where needed. They assured me when they got done with it I would not be able to tell anything ever happened to it. If you can find a good body shop with a frame machine they can probably fix it.
