The largest thing they are concerned with is getting the dates out. Then you can make plans to attend, reservations, Vacation and etc. For us, the entry forms don’t get prepared until just prior to the event and the goal is 6 weeks out. They assume everyone can get signed up as they’ve already made plans to attend. From the factory side, they have not yet finalized all the details .
We are not in the tournament business and the 6 week line keeps us focused on what we do, which is building boats. We hope everyone has made their plans and reservations.
