Bass Cats everywhere!

Went to Lake Fork this past weekend, There was Bass Cats everywhere. I seen every model except a Sabre, and the newly released models. Some old models and some new models. The water was rough Saturday and Sunday 4 foot waves. The Cats were eating the waves Like the wind was barely blowing. You would see people on the lake and at the ramp taking out, the Bass Cat guys were pretty dry, You couldnt Say the for some of the other brand owners. I wish I would have had my Sabre, I have never had it on waters that rough, would like to have seen how it handled that rough of water. I know it would not handle it like a 19 or 20 rig would, But I would like to have seen how it did handle it.

Same on Conroe Sunday, Bass Cats everywhere. My son and I were fishing near a marina and there three of us in Bass Cats in one small area. Saw numerous other Bass Cats all day. Conroe got really rough Sunday afternoon. It was a slow ride back to the marina we launched from. On a side note, we were fishing one of the off shore areas Ike fished during the classic. It was funny watching boats come over by us and mark the spot then leave. The funniest was a guy in a Bass Cat pretend to fish some docks abeam us for about 5 minutes then leave. Took me a while to find the spot but eventually did. Even better my son left the marker buoy on the spot, went back to get it but it was gone. I think they had a pretty big crappie tournament on Lake Fork this past weekend.

I believe they did, there was crappie boats everywhere ya turned as well. I never saw the results, but I saw some beautiful crappie being caught. The only way to make a crappie look more beautiful, is to cover it in corn meal and dunk it in hot grease.

I spent the first week of the month at Fork , and the crappie guys were EVERYWHERE . — I caught a 19 inch CRAPPIE on a spinnerbait . — There are definitely some NICE crappie in Fork !! — Bass fishing was just ” ok ” . — Big fish of the trip was a 7.05 caught by my nephew . — Several 4s and 5s , but sadly , the big one got away , like they always do . — Hoss

I was there on Saturday and when you turn a boat sideways to those kind of winds and waves, you WILL get wet unless you are in a houseboat. my bilge came on 2 times by the time I slowed down, motored to the ramp to let me wife get the truck and trailer and then back to the ramp to load up. not very pleasant and the fish no biting as well
