I was scanning a drop the other day and came across these. I fished for a good 30 minutes with out so much as a nibble. The way they are set up makes me think they are bass I was just curious what somebody with a little more experience thought.

or jigging spoon. At 50 ft, those are pretty big returns. I would think catfish, but heck, fish it anyway. It COULD be a record bass.

not 50ft but 15-20ft depth below transducer and good returns for sure. 50ft is the scan distance to each side of transducer. looks like there 2ft off the bottom and if you tried different baits and they still didnt bite then i would say catfish or if you have them stripers?Last edited by socalpIII on February 17th, 2015, 4:09 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Not bunched like I prefer, and I wouldnt waste my time unless they were relating to a piece of structure or brush.

cant tell from the resolution, but they almost look to me more like bait balls than they do individual fish?

I hate that lake and most all of em until about mid March I can do pretty good on greers but all the others I dont know why I waste my time

Kyle on dardy if it aint clear dont fish it. Then find warmest thing you can. Them locals just hammering the pits man.C.O.D. Jr. III
