On a Gen 2 Touch unit all you need is the transducer for Side Imaging. There is no standard feature package in OEM from Lowrance like you are familiar with on Retail shelf items at Cabelas. Each item is added to user choice by order and your boat must have been ordered by someone who did not request side imaging. There are getting to be more ordered without Side Imaging than recent years as some anglers simply felt they did not use it enough or at all for the expense.
