Just got my Basscat No Compromise rod locker sticker. Well it was all bent up in the shipping box. So I emailed parts and they responded with its a iron on sticker. Well has anyone out there put one of these stickers in their boat? If so whats the process? How do I now melt the sticker or carpet in the process? Also its kinda missleading when you buy the sticker that it doesnt specify thats it a iron on and not stick on like all others..

That is a carpet decal that irons on the carpeting we believe. The company lays a towel on the carpeting and decal then presses it down on clean carpet.

Place heat transfer decal in location you would like. Place a clean white towel over decal and carpet. Be sure to not move decal from location you would like it when placing towel on it. Get iron to roughly 350 degrees and apply pressure to area of towel that decal is. Take it easy and check to make sure decal is adhering. It is a far superior process than a peel and stick type decal for carpet. If you would like to remove it or any other heat transfer acetone on a paper towel will do the trick.

The back of the sticker is still really sticky. Which leads me to believe that its not an iron on.

Then stick that bad boy down. A little heat from a heat gun will straighten out any kinks or wrinkles from shipping. If your in east Texas any time soon I will install it free of charge.
