All five tires on my 2008 Cougar AE have valvestems that the rubber has severely cracked on the outside. So far there has been no air pressure loss. I am concerned because on my farm equipment once this issue occurs, it is only a short time until a tire goes flat. Is this a normal occurance with the decorative valvestem on Basscat rims. or is this something I need to get replaced? Normally with farm equipment, I get 7 to 8 years service with tires continually exposed to the elements before valvestems need to be replaced. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed cracks in their valve stems of their sheltered boat trailer tire rims.
