The parts in the picture are for mounting your trolling motor. The black brackets with rubber washers go between the top cap and the trolling motor bracket. The rubber washer side goes up so the rubber washers contact the bottom of the trolling motor bracket. The aluminum plates go on the underside of the cap. The angled one goes up on the nose end of the boat with the angled end toward the nose. You will have to remove the trolling motor plug plate to access this area.Just a tip, stuff a hand towel in the opening and push it down below the opening. If you drop a washer or nut, this will catch it so you dont loose in in the bottom of the hull. Tie a string on your wrench and around your wrist. If you drop the wrench, you can pull it back out.The mounting bolts should come with the trolling motor you buy.Hope this helps.RK
