Depending on what engine, and graphs your running. You gunna hear alot of people mention the big northstar battery for a cranking battery. 31. I have yet to run one but will next. I’ve had good luck with interstates in the past. New boat came with pro guides and they seem good too.
I’m running a 2002 200 optimax I’ve had it about 3 years and it just sounds like it needs a little more when I start it always has not sure on the cold cranking amps on the battery there now
Make sure your starter is ok. Mine went bad and it would act like battery was week but it wasn’t battery

Following. If one was to splurge and go with a Lithium cranking battery, what would you buy to equal a 31 series?
I am running the northstart 31. Its a beast!!. Ive had it over nearly a year know. I still run wet cells for trolling batteries. I have a friend with a bit of connection on batteries. He talked me into a battery called US BATTERY for my trollers. They so far have been a great battery as well. Though i will add all these batteries are HEAVY!!
Mercury recommends 950CCA or better.

Relion makes an RB-100HP that will crank an Opti. 1300 dollars on line, and you may have to re-programme your charger, or buy a new one depending on what you have.
I’m running Interstates. SRM-27’s for trolling. The last set lasted almost 5 years when one started getting weak so I bought 3 new ones. My cranking battery is a 31M-AGM Interstate. I’ve only had it for 8 months but like it so far. Expensive though, $325 but 3 year full replacement. 250 Pro XS, 2 blades, graphs, etc.
The Northstar 31 battery is a beast and is worth every penny! Yes it is heavy, but how fast do you really go when you cannot start your outboard with a livewell full of fish at the end of the day!

Yes, a real beast of a battery. IMO, probably the best AGM for use in a bass boat right now, and has become more popular since the PM1/Odyssey was discontinued by Sears. The Northstar/X2 is 370 dollars, with four years of warranty at Batteries Plus. You need a high quality AGM charger to get proper charging and full life.
A Northstar for cranking and flooded batteries for the troller is a great set up. John (Jones Trolling Motors) likes the idea of an AGM for cranking, and flooded batteries for the troller. Rebadged 31 series Deka/East Penn wet deep cycle batteries are available at Sam’s for 99 dollars, and other retailers like Batteries Plus and O’Reilly’s. Rebadged 31 series JCI/Interstate wet deep cycle batteries are available at Walmart for 99 dollars.
NorthStar is great! Also available at Batteries Plus Bulbs as the X2 and is sometimes on sale.
I had two US Batteries develop small leaks in the cases. One replaced under warranty. When the second one leaked, I switched to Deka 27 AGMs sold under the NAPA label, they were great batteries.
