I have had my new sabre out 5 times now and the past 2 times after fishing for maybe 4 hours I have noticed that I have to run the trolling motor on 5 just the be able to fish at a steady speed.I have a motor-guide TM and I normally run it on the 3rd speed setting but could my batteries already be bad.The charger is showing a green light so they should be fully charged the only thing I havent done is check the water level. If I read it right the name of the batteries are PRO GUIDE tournament series but I tried to google them and nothing was brought up.Anyone else had this trouble with this brand?
Battery Outfitters is the home for Pro Guide and they may be weak. Check the voltage with a voltmeter on each troller batt to verify they are charging to between 12.4 and 12.8 volts.
Then hook up with the dealership and see what options you have. We believe we know the boat you have from memory and you will be in touch with Mike or Bowden if we are right, then they will communicate with BCB in house.
