battery advice

I have a 91 PII that I love it has a 24v trolling motor. I am currently upgrading my electronics to an hds 10 at the console a hds 7 on the bow structure scan hd to both and adding an 8 power pole. Do I need to upgrade my batteries to handle this. I fish a lot of small water and very rarely have time to get out for more than 8 hours at a time. Thanks for the help

Cant go wrong with the Sears Platinum DieHard, those HDS units are going to pull a lot of juice.

You might need to run the power directly from the unit to the battery. Im sure some one else will chime in but I had to do it because every time I started the big motor the unit would shut off.

We suggest a large 31 AGM, similar to mentioned Platinum PM 31, for the cranking battery with large graphs in use. Though forte troller we think most are fine with inexpensive lead acid wet cells in 27 series. Get trollers with a solid warranty and easy to replace. If you were making a living fishing we would suggest AGM all the way.
