My 2007 Sabre FTD came with a ProSport8 (2bank for trollers) and a ProMite5 (1bank for cranking). Both worked fine until about 6 months when the ProMite quit. They appear to be good chargers. My only complaint is customer support (or lack of) all e-mails and phone calls to ProMariner went unanswered. I thought there may be something I could check or possibly some trade value on a re-manufactured unit for replacement. I had a 3 bank Duel Pro charger not being used so I replaced both ProMariners with one charger. Duel Pro is 15amp so its a faster charge but added some weight. Mackey

how about NOCCO GENIUS on board chargers? have one on my cougar ftd no problems yet

I have a 4 bank minnkota 460 that is 15 amps per bank.Put clips on the ends instead of loops and with a little heat shrink I have a heckuva external charger.C.O.D. Jr. III

Thats whats in my cougar (pro mite). I havent had any problems out of it yet. Only been in there about a year and a half though.

I bought the Lester 24v charger and have not looked backed. Follow the instructions. I dont use it for the main motor charger, but it does wonders for the trollers and quick too. Its not an onboard charger. But worth the money, time, and accuracy.Martin

While I try not to go more than two or three days without fishing, on occasion it is up to 4 days between trips. (i know, tough life)I leave it plugged in and have never had an issue. If your charger works correctly, it wont be a constant charge. Short bursts will keep it hot regularly, and long periods if your using it tomorrow.

I have a 98 P III with a NOCO Genius 3. It keeps the 27 series TM batteries and the 31 cranking battery topped up and I am very pleased with its performance.
