Battery Corrosion ?

Looks like I over filled my batteries and as a result have a white calcified residue all over the battery trays. Is there an easy/safe way to clean up this mess? thanks

a good gel battery, like the optima will save you 20 pounds weight and no leakin problems. Plus they last for a long time.
