Battery Location?

Hey BCB should I move my batteries around or is this no big deal? I have the two trollers on the drivers side and the cranking battery on the passenger. They are Group 30 AGMs and weigh about 70lbs each. Look at the red BCB stickers on the transom. You can see the list to the drivers side. I dont have the 10 gallon kicker gas tank.

I have the same battery set-up in my 06 Classic and my boat leans to the same side. Was wondering if this will cause any performance problems like chine walking or porposing?Troy West

I moved mine around when I installed bigger group 31 size batteries for the trollers and I noticed that it did even the boat out when just one person is riding. I have two trollers on the passenger side and then my Noco charger, starting battery, and oil tank on the drivers side.

Console is on Starboard side… if you have rods on the port side and gear on the starboard locker all of this leads to the right side being heavier. Shift weight around if you can to the port side especially the port rear locker.

Just up to you there Bama96? Those extra few pounds do add on trolling. What is your cranking battery? You know we dont think large troller batts are necessary for most. Though a large cranking battery is. What you have in the rear storage effects this also.
