ThanksI found there was a plate screwed into the aluminum tray that I had to remove in order to accomodate the bigger battery. I dont know if the previous owner put it there, the dealer or BCB but it was obviously there to make the tray smaller and I did not notice that before. That was why I asked the question because it looked like some Cougar owners got that big ole battery in their boat and I was wondering why it did not fit in mine. Bill
