Battery ? What brand

Im still running the SCS 225s. Have been great batteries for me. Use them on a sailboat as well, for a “house” battery. They hold up extremely well, in my book.Mike

I use the Cabelas AGMs. They are pricy but after two years not a hiccup. I do have two Wal-Mart Everstart Maxx 29s in my other boat. I think they were around $75. Decent warranty and you can always find a Wal-Mart if one dies on you.

We like a major battery company for cranking batteries, or one you know more about. The Auto Zone, Oreilly, WalMart and other brands we just worry about as we know they often bid those out and who knows what the build is. BCB

I just replaced mine with Interstate 29 group, same as my old batterys. The old ones lasted close to 6 years so I went back with them. about $85.00 ea. and a very good warranty. I had delco in another boat and had several problems with them, they did warranty them each time but iratating going to the lake to find out a battery had went bad after 3 months use.
