You can call or email basscat for a wiring diagram I think. But, most boats will have electronics and accessories hooked to the cranking battery and only the trolling motor hooked to the other batteries. The cranking battery is re-charged while running the big motor, but the other batteries are not (without special set-ups). You probably wouldnt want your electronics, pumps, lights, etc drawing power from your trolling batteries all day. Hope that helps. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

It does thanks. New to boat ownership and jsut learning the new “to me” boat. I figured that was the reason why all was connected to the cranking battery. Had to replase the cranking this past weekend and jsut took some time studing what was down there. Thanks for your help!!

Is a normal setup from factory for trolling batteries to only be wired to trolling motor? Are all other electronics (motor, bow and console graphs, radio, lights, etc) to be wired to cranking battery?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Man this is tough from the description as you could have the wiring right. Naw, you should be good, plug the Troller in and see if it spins.

Yes and one of the reasons is to avoid inference. If the electronics are wired to the same battery as the trolling motor there is usually interference every time you step on the button.
