For ref I have a 07 BayCat with 250 ProXS 20″shaft.I have had time with props, came with a Bravo 1 which it ended up slinging a blade Merc sent me a new one but in the mean time I picked up a 24 tempest that had been tuned and it works great for a fishing prop with just 2 people in the boat. Well the new Bravo they sent me ended up slinging a blade also this time Merc would not replace it, I did not hit anything it just slung it. The trophy is a good load carrying prop but I am not gonna try another one for some reason they dont like my boat. I am looking for other options for a load carrying prop for when I take friends and family out for fun.

Mercury has the new Ennertia (spell?) propeller thats a large diameter and it offers some tremendous load carrying ability. We are testing it on the 209 TFX Yar-Craft and while shaving 2 MPH off possible top end the load carrying and hole shot seems to be very good. We dont know what size to try on a Bay Cat in this new wheel though we do think it would be worth a try.

Jeremy, I had a Mirage on that Baycat I had. I dont remember the pitch though. My boat would run about 67mph. But I never had more than two people including myself in the boat.
