Bill – I cant help you w/ the Baycat question, but have you contacted Jay Law about fishing the Mobile Delta? He has a PIV and has learned a lot about the Delta in the few years he has lived there. He is Gafishin on the boards. I hope your move goes well. I enjoyed living in Mobile from 98-00.

Big D Outdoors in the Beaumont, Texas area is probably going to be the closest to see a Bay Cat. They have a couple in production now. It would be a drive across I – 10 to get there. BCB

I have talked with Jay Law, plan to meet up with him as soon as I get moved and settled in. Thanks BCB, I hope to get over to Texas to see the BayCat. Can a BayCat handle 3-4 footers? I figure if the Gulf or Mobile Bay get waves bigger than that…I wont be going out anyway, no matter what kind of boat I get!!

Bill you should just come to the NC Rally and go for a ride in mine, yes I think it will handle 3-4 fters if you were to get caught in them. I will shoot you an im through the BBC.

steviekat, Contact BCB tomorrow. They have a swap out ongoing with a rig and they may be able to help on a Bay Cat. Some equipment will be left, and some will be newer if no t new. BCB

Bowden Marine in Humble,TX has a new one with a Merc 200xs on it believe. I saw it the other day and its white/off white with red stripes…sharp boat.I dont know if it was already sold or a stocking unit though you can give them a call. Great dealershipLarry
