The only BCB dealer in Northern California,Mossdale Boats is closing its doors on Monday the 15th.This is sad news and a reminder of a down economy.We all need to continue to support our local dealers and tackle shops.Hopefully in the near future BCB will have a new dealer in Northern Cal.

They made a nice statement on BCBF regarding the situation. Basically the recreational boats have eaten on them as sales fell put west in California. It pretty much described the situation.

Does BCB plan on opening another dealership in Northern Cal to replace the one that closed? Where do I go if a warranty issue should arise?

We would recommend using Mike Van Wagner for immediate service at this time, and see what develops with Jerry and Mossdale.

If Mossdale does re-open it wont be til the end of the year. Until then if there is a problem I have to take my boat to a Ranger dealer . Mike is a great guy and he sold me my first Cat, but Cmon!

In the present California and West Coast market we have no real options we would prefer over Mike. The attrition of boat dealers out west has been significant. From Arizona to California there have been a few closures. We have plenty working to re-establish, though we are in limbo ourselves till then. Your position is presently better than ours in that particular market. For now we continue to support Mossdale Boats through the end of October we were told. Then any reorganization or formatio will be known. We are aggressively exploring other options out west. The 100% Bass TOC is coming and we want to continue our support out west. We hope to have other options to fire off a new format with out west next year. We should have a dealer soon to promote that effort through. Thanks for the info.This is my second Cat.The only way I will switch to another brand is if there isnt a dealership out here. Glad to hear BCB has plans for California in the future. I see more and more Cats everytime I hit the water.
