I have purchased a couple of these. Curious as to what kind of success these lights are having? I really like the light. Just a little concerned about durability
I put a set on at the first of the year. One shorted where the wire passes through the frame, so I had to replace it. I don’t know if it was my installation or a faulty wire. I’ve not had any issues since.
I installed mine a little over two years ago, so far no issues. I really like the looks of them too. I can’t remember exact hole size that I drilled, maybe 1/4” or 5/16”. I did back fill the hole with silicone to complete the installation.
Finally got around to installingthe light. Solderd all connections. Finished up with heat shrink. After drilling holes i put a dab of por 15 on the bare metal let sit overnight. And backfilled holes with silcone
