BCB Pantera II (Adding a fuel tank)

Hey guys! Just got my first BCB the other day and Im joining the family with a 2008 Pantera II Advantage Elite with a 200 Yamaha Vmax HPDI Series 2. The boat has (1) 33 gallon tank, is there a possible way to add the 10 gallon kicker tank? I live in south Florida and fish Okeechobee every weekend and am planning on doing FLW COSTAs in 2018 and I want to be sure that Ill have enough fuel range to get to where I need to and back.Thanks!p.s. I was doing research on what boat to buy after selling my 97 Ranger R80 and it came down to stratos 200/201 pro xl or any Bass cat 19+, luckily I found a local buddy who had this one that he was willing to part with. Just got her registered in my name today and took her out to the lake and wow what a ride. Luckily it got pretty choppy with some nearby storms so I got to test out the rough water capabilities of the boat and I was NOT dissapointed. I thought my little ranger did good in the rough stuff….this boat erased that, totally different machine. So far so good! This 19 footer is plenty of boat and I dont see why most guys see the need for anything more

You can add the kicker tank, it will be a little pricey. They require fiberglass sealing the existing holes on one side and Richard in Service would be the go to on help. The Parts staff sells parts and they can sell parts to you, though they dont know the install and exactly what you need.

For reference, you ought to burn maybe 18 gallons per hour or so wide open. At 70+, that gives you close to 140 miles round-trip. If you back off to a reasonable cruising speed, you can stretch that considerably. My 08 has a 33 gallon tank and I have never approached burning that much fuel in one day, even running all over Guntersville or Lay (lay is about 50 miles from one end to the other).2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200

Buddy of mine added a exta kicker tank in a p4 and done away with his belly tank. He only had 20 gallon compacity. Back then i fished with him alot. That 200 wil sip fuel as long as you dont just stay in the throttle. We never run out of fuel.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

Except for running to Venice, La out of Houma, I have never needed more than a 26 gallon tank for a day trip.

Hopefully youre right! I need to pony up and just try to run it out of gas one day and see what my range is, Ive gotten it up to 67 so far but I havent really been pushing it too hard, its been pretty gusty here on the big o so it makes it hard to open her up even in the rim canal in some places. Im just trying to see if I can make the run from the kiss river to kreamer island, run around fish and make it back. Opening it up to 5300 rpm when I can and dealing with the rough water when I have to
