Who has fished out of one or owned one? Can you stand in it with stability? Storage? Seating? Pretty much any info would be great on this little kitty, thanks. -Steve
I dont use the Cougar enough as is Bill! Lol. I need a small engine lake boat. This may be it but it sounds like no one that owns/owned one wants to speak up.
Steve,I have a very limited amount of time in one so keep that in mind but they arent as stable as the big boats like you have but you can fish out of it while standing up. I hate to even do this but it is a lot like my 17×54 duck boat (sorry Rick) but I think one would be perfect for what you are wanting. You need to check one out to see if you can handle it but I likeem for exactly what they are designed for.Good luck!Judd Lasiter
Thanks for the reply. I wish someone around here had one I could get a good look at and maybe a test run. I know the stability will not be the same but since I am looking at another smaller boat I figured I would try to stay in the family. I may just have to drive down to BCB to get my hands on one. I actually just realized I am off the weekend of the OI. Its the first big event I have seen that somewhat fits my schedule this season. We will see.
Ive been keeping my eyes peeled for a Phelix as well. I kick myself in the @rse as I missed out on one locally by 20 mins…smoking deal, hardly ever used, garage kept, etc.Advantages are taken, not handed out…
