I am looking for some feed back on this rain suit. I have a Frogg Togg suit to ware when the temps are moderate, but I am looking for something during the winter months. Fit is something I always have a problem with. At 63″ most parkas and pant legs have a tendency to come up short on me.
I just got one. Im 6.1 and the XL fits fine and I would think if I were 2 inches taller it would stll work well. I might be a little chubby but certianly not what you would consider a BIG guy. The quality is excellent, Im really impressed.
I am more on the lean side of 63″ then the girth side. My heavy weight is 210 and my summer weight is 205. I will probably have layers of clothes to fill it out during the winter. Our high and low temps for the day can vary as much as 35-40 degrees like it did this past weekend.
I got mine for Christmas last year. I am 59″ and at the time weighed 220 lbs now down to 178 lbs my rain gear is Large and its plenty roomy even when I was 220. It is slightly long for me but I just shortened the suspenders. It is of the same quality as BPS 100 MPH or Cabelas Guide wear at half the price and comes with a zip out fleece jacket too. Iwould call BCB and speak with Dory and she will size it correctly for you
Sam,How much extra clothing do you have have on underneath the suit? I weigh about 35lbs. less then you, but plan to ware it during the winter when I have extra layers of clothes. Should I order the XL or XXL?
Being 63″ has its drawbacks, most stuff is too short, XXL fits me better, I still have room for xtra clothing and it is long enough, XL might work for you , but not sure about the length issue.BAYOU BANDIT
