BCB Raised Decals

Can these be used instead of the window decals for the hull? Has anyone done this? I know most of the time when this is brought up people are asking about the window decals. Seems like the raised decals would look very nice and plus I can get them in the color I want. Maybe they are never brought up because they dont hold up as well?

They will rub off easily, go to a local sign shop and take a BCB decal, they can duplicate in any color you want.BAYOU BANDIT

MillpondI installed the bubble decals on my 08 Puma a year and 1/2 ago. So far, they are still holding very well. I cleaned the area first with Acetone and then Alcohol and used a firm pressure when installing.

I used the raised decals on my Cougar FTD. They have held up perfectly for over 3 years. No peeling or rubbing off.

I just put the raised decals on the boot of my 92 Sabre. Ive only had it in the water once so I cant tell you any long term results, but it does look pretty sharp. My boat has gold pins and I had bought the raised decals thinking I might replace the standard BassCat decal on the sides, but I decided to replace them with the same as what I removed. That left me with the raised decals sitting around the house collecting dust. If they last great….if they dont Ill try the window decals. Like eparker1959, I cleaned the area really well and used a good bit of pressure while applying them. Last edited by toledobasser on March 11th, 2010, 4:17 am, edited 1 time in total. Have had the domed decals on my Chevy for past 4 yrs. No Issues. Also had them on previous truck for 5-6 yrs. Again no issues. I have always cleaned the area really good with alcohol ! Think cleaning is the KEY !

Raised letters been on the bottom of my hull for 9 months and are showing no signs of pealing
