BCB- Transom transducer mouting on Margay?

Since Im changing the console graph, Im looking for information on how to mount a transom transducer without drilling holes in this beautiful white hull..Ive got a G2 with the DPS so only a small 3″ Slidemaster plate, dont think theres an option there.How do you guys mount one from the factory?

Contact Transducer Shield and Saver. They have mounts for nearly everything. They might have one for a 3 inch Slidemaster. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. https://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/

Chvy, thanks for the picture. Is that mounting angle tapped into the jackplate clamp? (black piece) That means it would move with any motor height adjustments. Is it flush with the hull or the step?Ill check the link Toledo posted and see what they suggest.Thanks again.

Borrowed a tap and die set from my dad and did it myself. Transducer Shield and Saver makes sure you have everything you need as far as the “L” bracket, mine needed a spacer so that the transducer was lower, and the transducer mount itself. Any questions and they will answer. I just added a Helix Mega to my boat and had tried to order a new mount online. The order failed. Within 30 minutes I got a call from the company saying they saw where I had tried to place an order and they would help me with what I needed. Fantastic customer service!

They want me to double check the JP size.They show a 4″ not a 3″.Im going to do it myself as well. Just need to decide on which Graph & xducer. When you mounted yours, is it slightly lower than then hull step, assuming its a bass boat.
