Bearing buddies question

I recentley repacked my bearings on my trailer and i have one hub that will not stay on. I lost one hub and the bra on the way home, so i went out and bought a new one. hammered the new one on this morning and the new one came off too. Anybody ever had this problem. What can i use to make sure the next one does not come off? Im sure it will have to be heat resistant and waterproof.

my last boat trailer had the same problem.I lost 3 before I changed the brand. that fixed it. only thing I can trhink of is the BB is slightly too small

Did you put new bearings in and or did you get everything tight when you put it back together? I had the same problem on a trailer several years ago. Found out my bearings were bad, allowing the wheel to wobble ever so slightly, eventually pushing the bearing buddy off the wheel.
