Beede fuel Gauge help

Hey guys I have the Beede fuel gauge in my 95 Eyra. My gauge is stuck on half tank and I have about 4 gallons of gas in the boat. I pulled the sending unit out of the tank to see if it was stuck but it wasnt stuck it was hanging down and it should be reading empty. The gauge worked when I first got the boat. How do I go about fixing this? Has the sending unit gone out possibly? Thanks for the help Wil

On a 1995 model those were capsule sending units and usually just the top capsule went out. If yours is not a capsule (magnetic gauge) on top then it has been replaced and these Rochesters in that style do not last. Thus now a new sending unit is your option.

I now have a single 36 gallon tank which has a sending unit. So Im going to start with a new sending unit and go from there.Thanks!

I have a similar problem in my 93 pantera II. I took teh sending unit out and with a little prying on the edges it started working some but it still sticks in places. where could I find a replacement? several google searches have done me no good. Ive found the Rochester (http://www.rochestergauges.com/products/8700Adj.html) but im unsure which to get. BCB would you suggest another guage or is the one on this link the best replacement? Thanks for the help.
