Beede guages one warning beep and flashing “WF”

I have a 2011 Puma FTD with a Mercury Pro 250xs and when I was out today, when in gear and idling thru the 6 mph zone. When I trim all the way down I get one beep and the “WF” flashing a couple of times. Also when in gear when I would trim about 1/2 way up the same thing would happen. It would only do it in the same 2 exact spots and go away immediately . When I scrolled through to “faults” & “warnings” it would say no fault and no warning. The boat ran great, got up on plane normally, plenty of water pressure and everything else functioned properly. No faults or warnings when running at faster speeds.Any ideas?

Sounds like a low oil signal on the upper reservoir. BCB

Check the upper reservoir on the engine for oil level and fill it totally.

The bigger issue is why the boat side tank is not keeping the motor side tank full.With the motor idling on muffs, slightly loosen the top on the motor side tank. Have rags handy. You should see the motor side tank filling, though it may take some minutes. Quickly close the lid when it is full (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) and wipe up the mess .Continue to monitor the motor side tank level. Should it drop or if it does not fill following the procedures above, that is a sign that the boat side tank is not maintaining internal pressure derived from the crankcase and used to push oil to the motor. Repost that problem and youll get some advice on fixing it I am sure.

Common issue, kink in hose, pressure leak on main tank with lid loose, low RPM or many other things. Usually once you top off the tank they will run a long time before htey require more oil.

Mine done this same thing. I performed the procedure on the water. Has not done it again. Never really knew wt caused it. Though I monitored it real close for several trips.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it all.I checked the upper reservoir and it is completely full. Guess Ill be calling the dealer this morningLeaving for Canada on Friday morning and supposedly with the boat. Hope I can work it out.

Yes, it will be indicated by the ECM history.
