Beede Speedo not working

New P II and the Beede Speedo hasnt worked since I got the boat. Any ideas what the problem might be? Ive checked the hole in the lower unit and it is clear.

If you have a bird graph, go to settings, and turn nmea outputs on

Is this a white wand gauge or the NexSysLink gauge?

NexSysLink. Initially my GPS was not working on the 899 at the console so I sent it to HB and got it working now. I just wanted to get the speedo to work even though I can read it off the 899 now.

Yes, you must turn on the GPS output on your 899 unit. It is in the menu options.
