Ive got a BFL down in the Basin in a month. Any of you guys know of any campgrounds or motels that are decent near the Belle River landing area? Thanks, Bryan Adams.

There as motels in Morgan city and a state park also

theres a small camp ground in Pierre Part called Cajun Land Camp Ground, Its on Belle River.Theres a much bigger camp ground in Morgan City on Lake Palourd called Lake End, about 15 mins from the Public Launch in Pierre Part.there may be others to, those are the ones I know of.What are the dates of the tourney?

BFL Cowboy division- 4-28-12 out of Belle River and 6-9-12 out of Bayou Black.

Lake End Park , on lake Palourde is good if you have a camper. Think there are also a few hotels in Morgan City which would put you less than 15 min. from that launch. If water levels are good, the fishing should be great!!

I have a camp in Bayou Pigeon, 12 miles north of Belle River . I am currently doing a few repairs (replacing the power pole), but they should be done this week (upon inspection), its not the Taj Mahal, but it sleeps good.Last edited by happyhour on March 27th, 2012, 1:21 am, edited 1 time in total.

I did talk to a pal down there and said it was falling so it should improve. What are the best gauges to look at for the Belle River area as far as high, low etc. What would be ideal readings? Bryan. 03 P4
