The ignition key to my Cougar caught on my coat and bent pretty bad yesterday. I was able to straighten it out enough to start the motor and get home. I have a spare but wondering about using the bent key – are these easily replaced?
I just bought a replacement from my Mercury dealer. Mine was not in stock and took about 10 days to get. $10 per key but I received 2 keys, one fancy and ond just the plain key.John
