Best map card?

I have a new Puma with LCX27s on the bow and console. Whats the best, most accurate, most detailed map card for the South East. I live in Alabama and fish Smith lake, the Coosa chain and Tennessee river chain mostly. Thanks for your help.

I like my Navionics Premium 07, southern region. Great detail, and accurate beyond belief. Good luck, D.

I even have a condo on Smith Lake. The best card to get is the Navionics Hotmaps 08 card. It has more detail for the coosa chain of lakes. The 07 card does not support lake mitchell or lay lake at all. The 08 card does. Just an FYI. Good luck! misr12

I almost bought one today while at Airport Marine, decided to wait till next payday! I live 15 minutes from Lay, was waiting on the 08 version to comeout since the 07 didnt have LAy or Mitchell.

Lake Jordan is the one coosa chain lake not supported. These other lakes are supported like Smith, Martin, Logan Martin, Lay, Michell are all on there. To veiw lakes supported google Navionics. Get on their site. Select Hotmaps and then select Southeastern states. It will list lakes supported by state.God luck!

Ive run both the 2007 and the 2008 chip in the South version, and I would definitely upgrade and get the 2008. It wont be different for all the lakes, but it was dramatically better for Pickwick and Bay Springs, lakes that I fish a lot. Mike Whitten/Germantown, TN

The Navionics Premium is MOST DEFINITELY the most detailed for lakes that theyve done a HD scan on; but I have to disagree as to it being the most accurate. Perhaps it is for some waters but for Beaver here in Arkansas its almost shameful the sorry job that they did on it. Ive posted here before on the discrepancies Ive found on both Beaver and Toledo Bend as examples so I wont this time, but they even carried these errors forward into their paper map of Beaver also. Ive also found the detail to be too much to make sense of when viewed at an appropriate zoom level on a 7″ screen mounted on the bow and viewed while standing at the front pedestal. I do find them valuable to view on a PC for researching detail, but Ive gone back to the FHS Pro or MapCreate 7 for on-the-water use in my Lowrance units. Just my $.02. Deke[font=&QUOT]Deke[/font]

I just ordered mine from BPS using the gift cards I got for Christmas. I hope they dont screw up the order.
