Hello all… I just downsized from a 200 merc black max to a 175 evinrude XP on my P2 due to a bad cylinder. Everything is a 1989. Any suggestions on best prop size? Dealers telling me 22 raker or turbo. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks A. Ubben
Im runnig a 14 1/4 x 21 cabelas high performace on my 92 PII with a 92 200hp Erude on it. Ive been told to try a 25p shooter. I had a 26p ballistic to try but lost toooo much holeshot for not enought top end gain. I think boat could be faster but fish smaller lakes were the hole shot is more important. NOBODY beats me out of the hole but tops out at about 61 or 62 mph loaded heavy. Hope this helps
Thank you, yes it does help. My 200 had an aftermarket prop on it with no indication of size. After removing it, it turned out to be a 28. Im also told this could be the reason for the warping of the cylinder.
