For a man with a BAD back which hull (in your opinion) provides the softest ride? No comparison,,,,apples to oranges. But if you take the Jaguar out id go with the Puma FTD.

The Jaguar will be the softest ride in the bass boat market. Though affordability is very pending on your financial position. We dont all own a Mercedes or a Bentley and we all cant. Some wait for used ones, though even then a Jaguar brings a premium due to limited production. The standard Puma will ride slightly better than other models by a smidge. BCB

Well I think this is a FANTASTIC QUESTION……I feel if your looking for the softest ride from Bass Cat ONLY, then Jaguar is your only option, BCB I in NO WAY am being Snooty but the other hulls are BCB all the way, Ride on top, Sports car handling, DRY,DRY,DRY (unless im driving),and rides like a Vault, yet not all vaults are Cushy, ya know. I first saw the New for BCB Jaguar pulling into the Hotel we all stayed at for the 2010 Dealer meeting, I immediately sayed some Off color words in excitement, Im 6ft 5inches tall and this boat was designed for me….My Fiance at the time had never ever driven a boat, which Rick and I didnt know until she was cruising across Norfolk Lake in Ricks personal boat at 66mph, she then said to me, “not bad for my first boat driving experience”…….Save your 401k Moola and get the Jaguar, its the Best Bang for your buck when you look at options,size, ride, and this boat can go on ANY WATER to hunt fish……RIDE and DECIDE as the 80-90s Champ guys say……..Brannon

SM, all the Puma/Cougar hulls are the same, the layout inside is a little different. Live wells, side compartment in the back and placement of the gas tanks. And I would say the Jag has the best ride do to it physical size. Last edited by Issy1 on June 24th, 2011, 1:23 am, edited 1 time in total.
